This isn't a bad complex, but the management has always been a little on the sketchy side, even now that KRI Properties has taken over. I have had problems with the management entering my apartment without giving me 24 hours notice, and then leaving backdated notes to try and cover their tracks. This happened once and hopefully will never happen again. The building is in overall good condition for a 60 year old apartment block, far better than a lot of the places up around Case and Coventry. It is 60 years old, however, so the kitchens and bathrooms are tiny. It would be great if the management invested a little bit of money into updating the place. The basements and garage are basically a graveyard for busted appliances and strange rusting automobiles that haven't moved in years. Heated indoor parking underneath the building is a definite plus, and there is ample street parking at the Rapid stop. My biggest complaints are that the water pressure is very poor, the cold water is rusty, and the laundry machines in the basement are ancient and frequently broken. The intercom does not work and looks like it probably hasn't functioned during my lifetime. Unlike some reviews I have read, I have found the heat to be excellent. These buildings have hot water circulators that are very responsive to thermostat adjustments and totally silent, unlike steam radiators.
