There are many things people should be aware of before signing that lease. This use to be a prime complex to live at several years ago. now there are over 20 empty units. The corporate office has bought in new management time after time and let go the ones who really cared about the property and the renters. many people wrote corporate complaing about ------,and after nothing was done people started moving out when their leases were up. The latest corporate decision will have several more moving out. The heating bills are extremly high.There is mold in one of the buildings and there is a lawsuit pending.However, I am sure the people that live in that building by the dog park are unaware of that.If you have a maintenence problem, hope that it is during their working hours .Even though the head of maintenence lives on property ,you will have to wait for the assistant who lives over an hour away.I use to be very proud to call this place home but with all the corporate decisions I am worried we are heading towards a low income property.They need to start putting money back into the property. things need fixing especially insulation and updating.If you moved in several years ago you can't even touch up the painting since they no longer make that color so plan on having to paint everything if you want to keep things looking fresh.The tanning bed room after several uses gets so hot that I am sure the board of health would shut it down if they knew. Talk to people who have lived here for several years before you sign that lease.
