Resident 2013

6/19/2013

The worst apartment living. The staff and rules are the biggest problem. I had to sign my lease 4 times because they kept losing it and they decide to change the lease on a whim to suit them. Most of my friends that live here are trying everything to get out of the lease. Heather is obnioxous and horrible to deal with. If you move here good luck with all the resrictions and horrible staff. Some of my friends have pets and they want them to pay for DNA samples so they can test pet waste and fine who ever the owner is. It really more like a prison camp. They mention a cop on staff for the weekend and nights but he works in a different city and is never here and may show up 5-6 hrs later if your lucky. Good luck future residents, I suggest a diffrent place to live.

Dear Anonymous, Although I appreciate the time that anyone takes to write a review about our community, whether it be a positive or negative one, I am going to say right off the bat that the accusation of "losing" your lease 4 times is inaccurate. In my 15 years in this industry I have never lost a lease, neither has any of my team members. Maybe there were some areas that you missed signing during your move in process and the leasing agent working with you did not catch it right then? They would have asked you to come back and sign those missed areas. Our lendor added an addendum to our lease packet but it was nothing but a list of contact numbers. It by no means changed your lease in any way. The Poo Prints program was implemented recently and even though it has been mentioned time and time again it was a decision made to better our community grounds and we have seen a huge turn around with "pet parents" picking up after their pets which is all we wanted to happen in the first place. Our courtesy officer works different shifts. There are times that he cannot respond immediately but for the most part is here right away. With any courtesy officer that you deal with whether it is an individual or a contracted company, there can be a wait sometimes. They typically work with several communities. We limit our number of guests within the pool area so that our actual residents can enjoy their time at the pool, we ask people to pick up after their pets and make sure that they are on a leash when outside; we ask people to keep their noise to a minimal level and we ask people not to park in reserved parking areas such as carports, garages and handicap areas. I am not sure how any of these requests are looked at as being so restrictive that it is, in your opinion, "more like a prison camp". I am an involved manager and I care about my residents and whether they enjoy their living experience here or not. This includes addressing any complaints that may come in, no matter what it may be, with those that may be disturbing the peace of the community. My door is always open and I invite you to come in and speak with me offline at your earliest convenience.
