I have been living at The Greens for close to 3 years now. I have seen some things that I like, and some things that I dont like. When it comes to management, I did get a little scared. Last year the management changed, and of course change can be a little worrysome with the place you call home. When I met the new management couple I had some quetions about their capabilities-but I have to say that generally speaking they have made some major improvements to this complex. They are friendly, and very easy to talk to. I have had a couple maintenance issues, and the manager Chris, always fixes everything very quickly. One thing I did not like when they first came here was we were no longer able to call in maintenance orders, well I came into the office and requested to speak to the manager, and Janine came out and explained the reasoning behind the change, in a very understandable explanation, and very nicely. You can tell by talking with those two how much they want to help us, and how much they care. That is very important to me.
When reading these other responses, I can understand why some of these people are upset-I dealt with the ice, but I also called my sister who lives in a different apartment complex in Tulsa and her apartment does not clear ice for the same reason of them being responsible. It does kind of stink for us, but we all have to deal with it if we dont want to buy a house and do it ourself. To comment on not getting any notice for having a water line break- it would have been ideal to find someone who can provide a notice before a main water line freezes and bursts, and puts an entire 2 miles of houses, buildings, and apartments without water. From the looks of it they could not find that person.
Overall I really enjoy my home, and for what I dont, I also understand that I am in an apartment. I am pretty social with my neighbors as well, and I have not heard them say anything in bad taste of the community or the the managers who run it. Overall it is a very nice place to live.
