Campus Lodge Apartments

I moved to Campus Lodge at the beginning of the school year in August. It was honestly the worst mistake of my life. I thought it would be somewhat nice since the complex was fairly new and the pictures of the apartments and everything looked fine. Do not let this deceive you! They didn't even allow us to move in until the DAY before school started because they claimed they were 'cleaning' the apartments. Not only was this extremely inconvenient, but when we moved in there was dirt and stains everywhere like someone had just moved out. It was obvious they hadn't cleaned at all. Also, there are not just students living here! There are both families with little kids wandering around and police officers. If you don't have three other people to live with the office will stick you with someone even if you hate them just so they can make more money off of your apartment. Even though the complex is fairly new they don't maintain it and it already looks like it is falling down. Also, the apartments in the area are really run down and it's in a ------ neighborhood so there are strange people walking around at all hours making it seem sort of unsafe. The internet rarely works and the shower only stays hot for like 5 minutes. Honestly, unless you're just not picky AT ALL about where you live, do NOT live here. There are few good things about it. ESPECIALLY when you consider that it is the SAME price or close to NICER apartments in Norman. Why waste money on this dump? I am counting the days until I move somewhere else in May.
