I have lived at University Greens (Sterling) on two different occasions. The first time I lived there was in 2002-2003. At that time "Sterling" (as it was called) was the PRIME place to live in Norman for college students. It was OKAY then, at best..and only because a lot of people I knew lived in the complex. I moved out to live in the sorority house then moved back into a different apartment building at Sterling in 2004-2005. The management had changed and was horrible. They have a bunch of thugs running the place. It is true that they will enter your apartment when you are not there. We did not get our deposit back because they were charging us for some water bills that we supposedly had not paid. Even after proving to them with check stubs that we paid the bills, we saw no refund. The shuttle that supposedly runs you to campus is a joke. There are about 10 seats on it and you will stand out there and wait for it, only to be turned down because there is not enough room. When it rains the sidewalk used to always flood so you have to walk through a huge puddle. The hot tub is usually filled with beer cans and God only knows what else... If you live on the bottom floor be prepared to hear EVERYTHING that the people above you do. We thought elephants lived above us. My prime complaint is the management though. They are completely unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't live at Sterling again.
