Resident ā€¢ 2010 - 2020

11/3/2020

What I love about the property is the schools and location. Long term resident means nothing to these people. No one wants to efficiently maintain the property. They clean up long enough to sell it again and again and then it becomes worse than before. It doesn't help to report or ask for help to combat roach infestations even when you know which tenants are responsible for the infestation. Tenants leave their trash (and their kids trash) out by the doors and all over the yards, stairways, and parking lots. The children/adolescents are disrespectful and think they run the place. You need to have courage to say something when you see something wrong even if it means calling the police. (Especially, so.) Right now nothing is being done to maintenance problems and you can never get someone on the phone. Post all of the service issues you want and you don't know if anyone came. Maintenance is often seen collaborating at the playground, washing their cars by the back shed, and that's about it. Maybe this place is for you, but I am literally sick of it and sick from it and I can't afford to move.

    Resident ā€¢ 2010 - 2016

    4/4/2016

BRIDGE POINT APARTMENTS, (FORMERLY WILLOW CLIFF APARTMENTS) IS NOW OWNED BY PRESIDIUM as of February 2016. in February 2016 I was informed me when I walked in to pay rent that they are now Bridgepoint and that all checks should be filled out as such and she hands me a letter from the management, same employee as before,(I guess she works for Presidium now.) "We have paint! we have this and we have that, she says, then I asked if rent was going up and she says, "no". Here we go, someone has money to invest, they have began replacing roofs and are playing with some paint colors, this is the second week that no one is working on anything. Easter day, they had security driving around in the cart and one probably had the IQ of about 83.(not trying to be mean). I heard from other tennants that a fence is going up along the side of the road that faces Dolese park. Kids use that track to walk to school and I use that trail for exercise with many others if they aren't in a wheel chair. I have also been informed that they are doing away with Section 8. But they don't seem concerned about the fence along the backline of the property which is old aluminum and stockade. They were excited about GOING PAPERLESS MEANING THEY HAND YOU A PLASTIC CARD WITH AN ACCOUNT NUMBER AND THAT IS THE ACCOUNT THAT THE TENNANTS ARE TO PAY FROM OR GO ONLINE AND PAY WITH CHECKING ACCOUNT OR TENNANTS CAN PAY RENT BY GOING TO THE BANK TO WITHDRAW CASH AND THEN GO TO THE LOCAL ACE HARDWARE, BUY FOR LESS, OR WALMART PAY SITES TO PAY THE $3 FEE WITH "CASH ONLY". TO THE THIRD PARTY FOR PROCESSING THE RENT PAYMENT. My work order that I turned in at the beginning of February, one side and one half of a page, nothing has been done in my unit, but they would love for me to sign a 10-15 MONTHS LEASE FOR $623. PER MONTH OR GO MTM FOR $720. PLUS PAY WATER, SEWER, GAS AND PEST CONTROL IS $18.00 MONTHLYWhen this was Willow Cliff first looked at a unit before moving in one bedroom smelled like pet urine while the carpet was wet from shampooing. Windows are single-paned so yes, everything is heard that goes on outside and people are loud.I have met some great people here and I have met some people that don't deserve their freedom. Management still needs to step it up on the inner unit maintenance especially for long term tenants who are actually trying take care of things to attempt to have a decent home despite the security and safety issues. Some examples include the roofing leaks, dishwashers that smell like sulfur, (yes, I am aware of how to clean and maintain appliance... and a home) I reported it and nothing has been done to rid the dishwasher odor. As for the roof, people have been out about five to seven times. Could have had a new roof on the whole building by now, but they just rip up shingles and place new ones on and a few months later there's another yellow stain on the ceiling. Some of the tile is torn and damaged from previous tenants and the carpet is cheap as crap. I shampoo my carpet myself every few months and even when it's clean it looks raggedy. Management don't care about what your plumbing fixtures look like as long as it works and sometimes things slip through the cracks (human error). PLEASE REPLACE THE ROADS THROUGHOUT THE PROPERTY. Tenant for five years.
