Resident 2012 - 2015

12/18/2015

This place is your worst nightmare x 10. Roaches since day 1, mice and pack rats too. They turn the water off (& you have to pay water here ) at least once a day, but usually twice. Our A/C leaked until the ceiling tiles fell in, and it has ruined the hall carpet (which was stained and frayed when we moved in with dangerous nails by the sliding door that we have to block with suit cases bc I have 2 toddlers), we had to buy window units bc it breaks several times a week, and it did all summer. Even when it "works", you have to close the vents and block the kitchen and bathroom vents just to get it to 85 degrees inside instead of higher. The blinds were fixed with scotch tape, so we didn't notice them being broken right away. Once they started falling apart, they threatened to add on to our rent for the cost of new ones if we didn't replace them immediately. Our cabinets were falling apart, but just barely patched up so they didn't come apart until after we loaded them with our utensils and dishes. They still are. Dishwasher broke. We had a decent manager named Kelly (they changed managers 5 times or more this year) when it happened so she insisted the maintenence guy replace it. He did, but with another used one that barely works. BTW, he spoke no English at all, so i had no way to tell him what to fix. When I bought a washer and dryer after the baby was born, the circuit could not handle it, and it fried it. They fixed it at first, but due to a change in management, when it happened again a few months later, they told me it couldn't be fixed (yet they advertise w/d hook up - they don't bother telling u the circuit breaker is so old it won't work). Finally had to call an electrician to get it working, but they refused to do it until management changed again (another thing Kelly fixed - too bad she is gone). They would talk so hateful when we called, none of us ever wanted to. Our fridge went out right after we bought the months groceries. They left us with no fridge for FIVE WEEKS. We buy in bulk so we can save money. Couldn't do that, so it ended up costing us over $600.00 to buy only what we needed daily, plus we had to buy a mini fridge and eventually buy all new groceries once the replacement FINALLY arrived. It was leaking water 45 minutes after they plugged it in. It still does. I had to completely block the kitchen from my babies due to the roaches, rats, mice, and the water leak. I've slipped in it several times, until finally just leaving a towel or blanket down at all time until it's soaked, then we have to put down a new one. The toilet is running RIGHT NOW. I can hear it. That, they promised to fix 2 weeks ago, along with all the other stuff with the a/c, missing ceiling tiles, etc. Please don't get trapped here. We paid so much trying to keep this place from falling apart that were behind on rent. When we had to pay our rent late 3 times in a row, they humiliated us when we went in to pay this last time. We're so behind, we can't afford to get out! I've never been so miserable in an apartment. Oh, and they are right about the kids. That are thugs, destroying everything, bullying the other kids (mine won't play with any of them bc they are hateful and destructive). AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, DON'T BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! I give this place a negative 5!
