My husband and I had a negative experience at Tammaron Village. When we moved in the carpet was old, hard and should have been replaced before we moved in. When we left two years later it was still the same carpet. Although we did live there for two years, it was not because we enjoyed it. It was due to outside circumstances. We would have moved out as soon as our first lease was up otherwise. Although our first set of neighbors were friendly enough, (we went though many neighbors all around us in a two year span, nobody else stayed in these apartments longer than about six months)by the time we left our neighbors seemed a bit...shadier and crassier. Our downstairs neighbor was a frustrating mess, as she would bang on her ceiling (our floor) if we so much as tripped and stepped down on the floor too hard. When we tried to bring up complaints and solutions to this problem to the acting manager (manager to at least early 2009) she blew us off, and actually took up for the downstairs neighbor before even a sentence left our mouths. I am being quite serious. She berated us for being too loud before we could say anything on our own behalf, and she never let us do so. So management has obviously no desire to settle disputes in a fair or honest way, only to have the complaining parties shut up. The plumbing had many problems over our period there, and the 'fixes' were always short term and unrealiable. We had rather large rain spots on our ceiling that never got painted over. And parking was horrible. We often had to park two buildings away from ours due to other non residents taking up all our buildings available parking. It was a place we rejoiced to leave, and advise other to try and avoid living in such an unprofessional apartment complex.Share This Review
