Tammaron Village Apartments
Resident · 2012 - 2013
I have lived in these apartments since April 2012. This is overall the best apartment complex I have lived in since I first began renting apartments. The office staff are always very courteous and quick to respond to any needs I may have. Bobbie (I believe she is the manager) can be a bit brusque sometimes, but she always follows through and gets things done quickly. Packages are all delivered to the front office. My only problem with the office is that they do not have an after hours drop off for rent payments. I work 2 jobs and sometimes cannot be home in time to drop off rent by the time they close. I have to take time off of work to make it there so I don't have to pay a late fee. The maintenance staff at this location is very high quality. They really seem to care about making the correct fix the first time. I have only really had 2 maintenance issues since I have been here, and both times the maintenance staff was out the day of or the day after I called. They are always friendly and happy to talk to you if they see you out on the property. The property is very well taken care of. There are lots of big shady trees around, and a lawn crew is out basically every week to mow and trim. The pool is pretty nice and is kept up, too. Parking can be an issue sometimes, but I have never had to walk more than 1 building away to get back to my apartment. There are 2 laundry facilities on the property. They lock them both at 10 pm, so if you leave clothes there you have to wait until the morning to get them. I have been fortunate that I only had one noisy upstairs neighbor (there have been 3 different neighbors upstairs since I move in). People seem to come and go fairly often in this complex. This is a really good neighborhood. The complex is set back from the road and it is gated, so you don't get a whole lot of traffic coming by. I feel really safe here (living alone as a female, that is A BIG concern for me). I haven't heard about any crimes happening here (although I have seen emergency vehicles here before). There is a supposedly a security patrol, but I only ever see them parked up front, if I see them at all. Overall, I would (and do) highly recommend this complex to anyone looking. Most amenities you need are very close by. The rent is pretty good considering the size of the unit you're getting (1 Br/1 Bath = 650 sq.ft. = $454/month). I plan to stay here a while longer!
