We love living at West Village! We had checked out tons of apartment complexes in OKC, but WV suited us the best. It can be a bit loud at times, but it really depends on which building you live in. If you choose to live near the Jones Assembly, you should know that there will be some loud nights. Depending on where exactly your apartment is, some people have issues with early morning noise from construction/waste pickup, but I can't speak from personal experience. The amenities are great: the pool is kept clean and the gym is definitely the best apartment gym I've ever seen. It's not just all machines and there is a lot of space in the workout area. If you have a dog, they also have one of the largest apartment dog parks (at least to my knowledge) and it has real grass. They also have a system in place to fine anyone who doesn't pick up their dog's poop. We also appreciate that package pickup is automated and open 24hr. The WV staff is great; Mav, Lauren, and Lateshia are always so nice and helpful when you stop into the office. I'd say the biggest concern with living at WV is its proximity to the city jail and the homeless in the region. Many of the city's homeless can be found around here. WV does have a courtesy officer and often have a police officer patrol the region, but definitely something to consider. Overall, our experience at WV has been wonderful!
