I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath apt that I moved into in August 06. If you are unfortunate enough to get stuck with one of the upstairs bedrooms make sure you purchase a ceiling fan (expect to install it yourself, it'll take an act of god for maintenance to do it). Without the fan the rooms are unbearably stuffy and excruciatingly hot. In order to keep the upstairs bearable, it is necessary to keep the living room fan on high at all times and the bedroom doors open otherwise, you'll likely suffocate. If you get the temperature just right up stairs the temp downstairs is freezing. The doorways aren't well insulated and during the blizzard this winter snow was actually coming into the kitchen. I had to shut a towel in the door to keep it from coming inside. The only time I deal with mgmt is to pay my rent and other than that I'd rather just fix things on my own than have to put in a maintenance request. I've gone through quite a bit of drano because the plumbing always seems backed up. Only 1 of the 3 people in my apt have a gate opener that actually works. It's no fun to have to push the buttons in the rain. The buildings are pretty cheaply made and many corners were cut in construction. There's a fire place with no functionality. I'm really not sure what's "luxury" about this place. Maybe the fountain that seldom is on? The pavilion that's never been used? The pool is located in the neighboring apt complex and is small and doesn't even offer pool chairs. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not "luxury".
