If you look at their page on apartments.com, you'll notice that cats are allowed ONLY if they are declawed. Declawing may be a common practice, but there are reasons other countries have banned it, and why many vets in the US refuse to declaw cats. Google "declawing" and find out what a cat really goes through when it is declawed. It is a horrible, cruel practice, and too many people are completely ignorant of that fact. It's not a simple removal of the claw. It is removal of bone and claw. Imagine if all of your fingers were cut off to the second knuckle. THAT is what declawing is like for a cat, not to mention it leaves the cat completely vulnerable if it should ever accidentally get out. Please do NOT declaw your cat, and please do not rent from the Chesterfield apartments.
