My son and I lived at Glenbrook a year before returning to California and the management at that time (2002-2003) was outstanding, helpful and highly professional. I too had a problem with mold in my bathroom for almost a month (there were just so many maintenance people they could send to hundreds of units), but after they repaired the problem, they knocked off a month's rent for my troubles. The laundry rooms were a bit of a problem with washers and dryers breaking down, but considering how many people used them, it's not surprising. The bottom line for me is that there is no perfect place on earth but it's gotten to where people have put their expectations through the roof and when you're paying in the range of $750-850, I don't think that's reasonable. I had great neighbors, liked the staff a lot, and Glenbrook is one of the things I miss about moving back to California. You complainers think you've got it so bad, come on down here with all the earthquakes, riots, fires, floods, houses sliding down cliffs, horrible traffic, smog, drive-by shootings and more, and then think about how nice the atmosphere is where you live at Glenbrook!
