Resident 2005 - 2006

5/28/2007

I lived at Campus Villa a year ago, my roommate at the time had picked it out. It's not the cheapest option available, especially since La Fonda is just a couple blocks away and cheaper. The manager isn't the friendliest person, but the apartment itself is quite nice. The living rooms are spacious. I recommend that you take pictures of the apartment when you move in and after you move out, when you have cleaned it again. The manager will try to screw you out of as much money as possible. My roommate and I had left the apartment in good condition, no stains, rips, tears. We had cleaned the apartment and when wondering about our deposit, were told that it took her "cleaning crew" (which just happens to be her two young daughters) two days to clean our apartment, therefore, she claimed that we owed her $80 over the deposit amount. We didn't take pictures, but she did. If you want to live here, take pictures, that's the best advice I can give; and don't expect a warm welcome.
