Great experience living here. If you want the best in upscale townhomes then living at The Tennyson is where it's at. One thing I am not pleased with, though, is that we signed a year lease and it ends in July 2018 this year. We are outstanding tenants- keep everythig nice, clean, pay everything on time, no noise complaints, friendly to our neighbors... yet we got a letter in the mail a few weeks ago stating that once our lease is up if we want to continue living here then it would be $300 per MOTH EXTRA in order to go month to month (which we were wanting to do). 20% increase in rent is OUTRAGEOUS. We are going to talk to the office and tell them that we are NOT going to pay that amount- $50-75/month extra would be reasonable and we would be willing to pay that but $300 per month extra, on top of our $1600 rent right now, for A 2 BEDROOM 2 BATH APARTMENT--- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HELL NO! We could just as easily find a nice rental house with 3 BEDROOMS AND 2 BATHS for $1600... no way in hell are we going to allow an spartment complex charge us $1900 for a 2 bed 2 bath townhome. All they are trying to do is attempt to see how much of an upcharge they can get away with because they are a very new living community... and they are going to lose my business (and many other tenants, too) if they aren't willing to negotiate a FAIR PRICE!!! We are able to afford $1900/month but WE REFUSE TO PAY THAT FOR A 2 BEDROOM 2 BATH APT! If you're interested in living at The Tennyson, make sure you find out how much they are going to upcharge you after a year lease is done and have them PUT IT IN PAPER!!!! I hope I can negotiate a fair upcharge price with The Tennyson, because my husband and I love living here. $300 extra per month upcharge fee, though, is just too rediculous to pay in my opinion.

There is however a Short Term Lease Premium additional each month if you chose not to sign a specific lease term. So there are a few options.
