I've lived here for 2 years and sadly, am moving. Tawnya, the onsite manager, is great. If there is ever a problem, she gets right on it. She is always available, and leaves notes if she will be gone. The maintenance guys are great and get right on any problems. These were brand new when I moved in, so there were some kinks. Squeaky toilets, dishwasher, etc. But the bugs were ironed out and the place ended up being great. There is always one or two rotten neighbors, but the complex as a whole is nice. No loud parties, college kids hanging everywhere. I have two little ones who love to play outside and felt the place was safe enough to let them! That's a big deal in today's apartment complexes.
The only drawback is tight parking spaces and no cats allowed. Hence, why I am moving.
I recommend Powell Street to anyone who wants a quiet, small complex with mostly-nice neighbors. Dogs are allowed, and the grounds are always kept clean. People actually pick up after their dogs here!
