When I moved into these apartments the woman that went through signing the lease with us FAILED to mention that there is a $125 NONREFUNDABLE charge to clean the carpet REGARDLESS of the condition of the carpet. I was never able to have company over because there was not a single parking spot open. Not to mention, there was seldom anywhere for my roommate to park her vehicle when we were both home. When this issue was brought to the managers attention, she simply said, "I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do for you. I have to tow people out of my parking spot every couple weeks, too." This is not helpful, considering they don't even tow the cars that sit in one spot for months on end. For three months straight there were FIVE cars that NEVER left the visitor parking spaces they were in. THREE of the FIVE cars had EXPIRED tags, and clearly have trouble running. The gate that is supposed to keep people off of the property doesn't even work all of the time, and was broken for the first three months of my twelve month lease. When they "fixed" this gate, they put a code on it for everyone to use temporarily. This was in JANUARY, and up through the end of my lease in AUGUST, they still had the temporary code available because they are too lazy to contact the residents for contact information. On several occasions the residents that lived below my apartment would smoke marijuana and smell up the entire stairway, and stay up late partying. When I went in to complain about these residents, the management told me that I was the third complaint that morning, and there have been several for the last few weeks. The day that I moved out, these residents were still there, still smoking marijuana, and still screaming and yelling at all hours of the day and the night. The only positive thing I have to say about the apartments is that their maintenance crew was quick and extremely respectful. They would always smile and wave as I drove in or out of the complex. I would NOT recommend these apartments unless you want to pay them $125 to clean your carpet, $60/hour to patch any holes you put in the walls, and $60/hour to clean if they don't think it is up to standard.
