SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

We are so sorry to hear that you are moving. We strive to encourage a community atmosphere and have worked with other residents to mitigate excessive noise after hours. We do take noise issues seriously- however normal living noise such as phones, water running etc., can not be eliminated after hours. Loud talking, laughing and electronic noise from stereos, televisions and similar devices can all be resolved normally with communication through our staff and the offending resident. We encourage all residents to inform our staff when excessive noise as well as disturbing odors such as cigarette smokes are disturbing to them. We have clearly defined rules and regulations each resident signs upon move-in. The Commons at Dawson Creek has 71 garages and 168 carports available for rent as well as numerous open spaces through out our community. It is true that after 6pm the front row spaces do fill up and the open spaces are typically in our overflow areas near mail stations and back parking lots. We do weekly parking patrols to identify inoperable vehicles and tag them when they are identified. The Commons at Dawson Creek has not received parking complaints often from the residents and would welcome information about unauthorized resident storage of vehicles. I am sorry to hear that you were/are not happy living at Commons at Dawson Creek. We take issues regarding the livability of or residents seriously. We hope that anyone that is having complaints of noise, pests or mold would contact our Community Manager so that any issues of this nature can be resolved quickly. We strive to encourage our neighbors to be aware of noise levels that may disturb others. Also we have a pest control company that is on the property monthly to ensure we do not have pests disturbing our residents. Our landscapers begin at 8:00 a.m. One of the many services provided is lot/leaf blowing. As I am sure you are aware, when the weather turns and more leaves fall, more blowing is required to both maintain the property appearance along with keeping pathways clear for safety. We are adjoining Dawson Creek which is a protected wetland area which is home to beaver, water fowl and even white tail deer. We love the location of Dawson Creek and have many neighbors bring in beautiful photos of heron, deer and other wildlife that they have observed from their homes. We have Creekside and non-creekside locations available at the property. I would be more than happy to discuss any additional concerns you may have that I have not addressed.
Tandem Property Management accepts packages in our clubhouse offices for residents when they are not home from UPS & Fed Ex we also accept all postal packages from the Post office. We feel that this service is a benefit to our residents. We sign that we have accepted a delivery although the staff must assume all the packages are left as the delivery drivers do not have us sign for each individual package. We lock the office door whenever anyone leaves the office to protect our residents & neighbors packages. We also sign in each package as they arrive as well as sign them out to each individual when they come to collect the package. I assume that the company that mailed your package and the carrier paid to deliver it have investigated facts including if the package was left on the truck or delivered to another unit in or possibly address in error. We accept many packages and your claim is highly irregular. We recently updated our trash collection site to enable our residents to utilize recycling more efficiently. This upgrade has been a positive for most residents as we all work to keep our community clean and our environment "green". We know that it has taken some getting used to and hope that over time the benefits will be more visible to all our neighbors. We are working to create additional bicycle parking in the former dumpster areas that will also encourage a "greener" place to call home. While the process of moving is never fun, we encourage all residents to do a final walk-thru inspection with a member of our staff. This final walk-through enables us to give you an opportunity to fix any cleaning items that may have been missed. We discuss our cleaning cost schedule both at move-in and send a copy with your notice paperwork. We would encourage any concerns regarding the condition of your home at move-out be discussed at that time.
