Landmark apartments, landmine Apartments. There was dog crap everywhere. I can't tell you how many times my daughter stepped in it because it was literally on the sidewalk all the time. It was worse in the grass. Owners let their dogs walk around without leashes and not pay attention to them. Also owners let their kids walk their dogs without leashes as well. We saw this all the time. We also saw one of the leasing agents golden retriever or lab, I can't remember, but they would do this too and let their dog walk around without a leash. Unless you rent a pricey garage you'll have to find parking yourself. It's virtually non-existent after 6 and we've had to park on the opposite side of the apartment complex many times just to find a single spot. Once you leave Landmark your bills will automatically be routed to the company that owns the apartments. The day they get the bill is the day they start charging interest for it. Which is weird because we try to paying everything off the day left. You cannot do that. We got our bill about 10 days after that and had 20 days left to pay it before we would have had to pay the interest. So you'll have several hundred dollars to pay in about 20 days without having to pay their interest. Make sure you get everything in writing because what the lease agents say doesn't matter. Verbal agreements do not mean anything, under the contract you'll sign. Not only do they not mean anything but you must get the manager's approval on anything for it to be verifiably legal. When we broke our lease to help my wife's father with cancer we tried paying the fees at the office. You cant. We were told our bill would be a certain amount, on two different occasions but it was $1,000 more. We were billed after the fact so we had no choice. You'll have to pay a special pickup trash fee that comes only five days of the week. By the start of the new week trash is usually filled up on the outside of houses because people honestly aren't going to let it sit in their house. Also they don't come during holidays or like the last two winters didn't come for about a week. Sometimes the the single recycling dumpster overfill sometimes it doesn't. The gym and racquetball court are 24 hours which is about the only saving grace for this place. Unfortunately the gym is small and never have sanitary wipes or paper towels in the bathrooms. The jacuzzi is year round but it closes at 10. In the offseason the light gets shut off so if you wanted go to the jacuzzi at night expect to be in pitch dark. We were told by the leasing staff that there's no security guard at night so as long as you're quiet you can just go in. So no security guard at night. There are two computers you can use with no free Internet available and there wasn't ink cartridges in the printers. People kept on stealing them. Also there are no user computers in the office. You'll have to use one of the staff's. My wife works about 10 minutes away, we carpooled, so I would go and pick her up at 5 and it took me about 30 minutes just to get onto the freeway. Also took us about 45 minutes to come home with traffic so expect that. Our place didn't have AC and last summer it was up in the hundreds so deal with that. I am going to say that if somebody from Landmark apartments comments on this know that, after we had a dispute with one of the leasing agents about what they told us on two different occasions. In the matter of a week and a half we called about four or five times with no answers before they blocked our numbers. We told the company that owns the apartments about this and they said that they have business to deal with and that we cannot deal with them anymore, even though our problem was a dispute with one of the leasing agents about what they said. So don't make some sort of we're sorry you had this issue please contact us here, because we tried that and you blocked us. Everyone expect the same kind of treatment. Enjoy the one-star because that's what we got. My view from our place was very nice. Despite walking through webs of spiders every single day, being right next to the park and very very muddy grass.
