Pros: *Location *Maintenance team responds pretty fast (most of the time) Cons: *Poor quality appliances. My oven couldn't even cook a frozen pizza, my microwave turned off randomly, dishwasher powered itself on whenever it felt like it (I didn't set a timer). *When you move out, expect to lose your deposit AND be charged for normal wear and tear. The bathtub was already in desperate need of refinishing when I left. Apparently, when the cleaners removed my non slip pad in the shower, they damaged the tub and CHARGED ME FOR THE ENTIRE JOB. Also, the shower is VERY slippery so be careful. I almost lost my 240lb boyfriend to this, hence the need for nonslip. *The stairs always smell like urine, so take the elevators. Also, they are rarely (if ever) checked on. A homeless man lives in the stairs by the parking garage so use the elevator. Otherwise, the stench (mixture of human smells and rotting food) will be waiting for you. He had a whole package of moldy cupcakes the one time I tried to take the stairs. And it was the worst smell I've ever encountered in my life. It still haunts me. *One of the two story units may be a drug house. I've seen many shady characters come in & out. Recently, about 5 policemen carrying rifles and drawing their weapons approached the unit but the woman refused to open the door. Guess they didn't have a warrant (yet).
