I love the location, my neighbors, my apartment, my view, the Community Room and rooftop terrace, of course Hussein, as I mentioned, and Safeway downstairs but I go not like Greystar, our management company. Since they took over several years ago, communication has gone downhill from the office. It is not the personnel in the office although with each new team that comes in, usually a couple of changes each year, there is less and less. There is very little training for each transition and we often do not know the names of those in the office or who is here when. Or if the office will actually be open regular office hours. Employees are spread thin and often work on at least two properties at one time. Last week the leasing agent told me that he had worked at 15 different properties in three weeks. How can that be efficient ? It's not, it's just cheapness on Greystar's part. I continue to live here because moving is a hassle and there are many positives (listed in my first sentence).......however, should I make a move, it will not be to a building managed by Greystar. Former tenants here have moved solely because Museum Place is managed by Greystar. We recently went nine months with only one working elevator and very little communication from the office because we were told "the office got some backlash about communication and so they stopped communicating about the situation".......if one is in management (and I have been) one needs to be prepared for backlash. Happily, the broken elevator was finally fixed as of January 17, 2020 (broken since May 1, 2019) so all is well with that, for the moment.
