Crazy thin walls - lots of noise from neighbors and streets at all hours; lots of smoke fumes in the building - stairs, hallways, elevators, garage, even seeping into apartments under doors - no escape; parking gate remotes are awful - don't work half the time, and yes, mine has been both "fixed" and "replaced" on a number of occasions; staff is always friendly and "helpful", but you'll often receive contradictory information or just plain wrong info. - Trey was great, but he left; paperwork submitted to the office via email or in person doesn't make it to your file (submitted three separate pieces of documentation to the office over a year ago, none of which is on my lease or file - I've just given up); quiet hours don't seem to be enforced at all - I'm often woken up by a neighbor slamming cabinets, doing dishes, or loudly gabbing at 2am, and I only have one shared wall, I don't want to think about how bad it would be if you have more than one; packages are often stolen within the community; office hours are rarely adhered to, if you show up an hour before close after work, they may have just already left; there's often a long delay before package receipt notification occurs (they're supposed to be installing package lockers soon, so hopefully this will no longer be an issue); maintenance has never been an issue, they always resolve things promptly; location is nice, though the transients do tend to gravitate to the safeway downstairs; overall, it's been kind of a nightmare dealing with the building issues, but if I stay in my apartment and it isn't quiet (so I can't hear the neighbor being obnoxiously loud in the middle of the night, or people on phone calls in the hallway), it's nice.
