At the time of writing this review I've only lived here for about two months. Oak Grove Village Apartments was a much different experience than my previous apartment complex. Mini was great, helping with my moving in transition, and being sure that the apartment was ready on time along with being a wealth of knowledge about the apartments themselves and the local area. The Maintenance team was quick and efficient when my issue came up, they were able to be in and out before I knew the job was even done. Its a quiet neighborhood, it has that comfy atmosphere to it, and the neighbors themselves are a pleasure. I can see myself living here for a long time. - Dan

Oak grove village apts are a wonderful place to live. I have lived here for twenty years. They are quiet, pet friendly, and conveniently located to shopping. The landscaping is excellent and beautiful, the pool is always clean and clear. The laundry room is always available and maintained. I am also amazed how the manager goes the extra mile to help with your needs ,to keep the tenants happy, and make our home a great place to live.

I absolutely love this place ! I have been here quite a few years and others 30 plus which tells you how much this place is valued! I cannot say enough about this place its landscapers do a over the top job. The pool is beautiful and always clean. They take care of all problems as soon as possible. And Don and Mini are so wonderful I could rave forever about them ! I had a very dangerous person come to harm me and Don ran to help me and police came and I am so grateful for how safe I feel because I have seen Don and Gavin save at least 4 people lives literally! The place has a very well balance of boundaries for people to stay safe and a community that really cares and you cant buy that! Don and Mini treat us like family . Don speaks fluent Spanish and English and has brought neighbors together in ways that brings love and respect for each other and a care that is over the top and I will never leave here unless I had to... THIS PLACE IS AMAZING ! its also near shopping… See More>

Apparently the maintenance mgr. has no problem with getting away with screaming at the elderly people 80+ no joke. And then to find out by my neighbors princeton property doesn't employe him. but the owner of the property does. so if he abuses the elderly he gets to keep his job? If that --- lady sues the owner. I am more than willing to stand by her side. the walls are very thin you can hear neighbors through the walls. maintenance is at it's own pace when it feels like it didn't smoke to much pot and drink too much the night before you may get help. This is sad and unacceptable. landscaping is great manager is great. and always friendly and doesn't allow this place to go down the drain except for she has no control over the abuse to tenants by the maintence guy. princeton needs to grow a couple in my opinion.

I wanted to post how much my kids and I love living here at Oak Grove Village. I think that this place is very family oriented and friendly. They have accommodated us a lot. We have so much interaction in our little community between the neighbors. From pool activities, summer BBQ Friday coffee and doughnuts and summer garage sale, eggs hunts, Halloween costume contests, and so on. Too many to mention. All run by Mini. We love it and feel we are a big family here. As the saying goes it takes a village and I am so thankful for ours. Oak Grove Village.

Oak Grove Village is truly a "Village", where the tenants are very caring and are more like family than neighbors. The management team and owner are incredible. Very prompt, courteous and look after the Tenants. This community is a healing place. The apartments, courtyard, landscaping and pool are highly maintained. Originally I lived here for two years, moved into a house and have since moved back because I love this place!!

do-not move here besides all the usual stuff of repairs not done untill people move out ,yearly rent increases , ect.. the staff here are into everyones business, they look down on people(elderly and disabled) who receive housing assistance, and do no repairs at all for these tennents

The newest manager was a helluva nice guy (gave him 4 out of 5 stars for trying), but the maintenance there is a f**king joke. The maintenance guy acts like he runs the place, but is actually half-assed in everything he does. Takes forever to get even the smallest things fixed, and I hardly ever asked, unless it'd been an issue for a while. Rent kept increasing for loyal long-term tenants (disguised as rising water costs), which was crap, considering nothing ever got fixed or replaced until you moved out. Old, run down appliances, carpeting, and blinds that became brittle with age and finally broke. I wouldn't have minded my rent raising each year if management/maintenance would have actually fixed stuff when I requested it instead of just blowing me off. The walls were thin, so I always had to hear everything the neighbors were doing, but that's a design flaw with the apartments themselves, so I can't blame management/maintenance for that one, but it still became tiresome after a while, especially if there were kids. There was no assigned parking, so any one could park in your spot if they so desired, which became problematic if you went to the grocery… See More>

I have had my rent raised $105 over last 9 months ,new tenents are paying as little as $650 per month while tennents who have been here long term are paying as much as $780 for exact same apartments, that are worn out from lack of repair. There are parking lot drug deals,no breed restriction for dogs, too many unsupervised children, and a management staff that just could care less about thier tennents. It has become an extremely stressful place to live since new owner and management staff took over last year.

this place is a joke!! it has gone down since new owner took over last year, there is no maintenence at all for tenents ,repairs are only done to apartments when people move out, and to apartments occupied by manager and repairman,we have had 3 managers in less than a year, they treat long term tennents, persons w/section 8/,disabled and senior persons like CRAP!!! The apartments themselves are falling apart, many have mold, all are in need of new cabinets, drainboards ect...,The repairman is rude. The managers?? are condencending,The new owner put alot of money into building a new office/club house that no-one gets to use its been closed since it was built last year.Rents have been raising between $50-$80 per year, and they are going to start adding new fees for water, the courtyard is now a playground,in all ,this place is expensive, noisey, small, apartments are old, neglected and in terrible condition.Good luck to anyone who gets suckered into renting here!

I currently live at Oak Grove Village it was formerly Patrician Square Apartments but it was sold to a new owner. I have had the chance to met him face to face great guy by the way. Yes he has built a beautiful club house that was closed for 1 week due to vandilism yah it sucks for us that have children that dont tear up thing. The problem in the past ther was the previous manager that was fired due to a petition that was signed by the whole community.from her unprofessional conduct she teriozed yelled, screamed was drinking and partying with other residents. The manager would have disputes with her family members that lived in three other units. Now that that manager was fired her family that lives in 3 units all next door to each other have done nothing but complaine tear up things and not to mention degraged the manager, tenants, children, maintenance and many other people in this community (they probably have terriozed the dogs and cats in the property too). I belive the 2 bad reviews above are from the family members of the previous manager. Thank god the are all moving this community… See More>

I am also a resident of Patrician Square and or Oak Grove Village Apartments. This complex has changed for the worst in the past 6 months since the new owner Alan Solares, has taken over. This owner claims to have spent $50,000.00 on the recreation room and it has not been open to the residents more than 2 days since the grand opening at which time he made children under the age of 18 sign a lease addendum to use the recreation room. Management is rude and has a attitude when you ask for any maintenance or assistance. The new maintenance man has no knowledge of pool maintenance and has had to close the swimming pool due to not knowing how to balance the chemicals. There are non residents living here who were denied to live here due to having felonies. Every few weeks we receive a two sided newsletter noting changes to the rules and regulations without any formal paperwork coming from the management company (Princeton Property Management). What used to be a community has now become just another apartment complex.

It is run by a management company that hires idiots. We have had three managers in six months. The rental agreement and lease clearly spells out that you cannot have a company or advertise this company on the premises. They have a towing company branch office with the name on the side of the truck. They also have a vehicle wholesaler bring in and working on vehicles in the parking lot. Both of these activities are a flagrant violation of the principle lease. The management is too stupid to know that or to catch them or do anything. The above activity is annoying.
