Resident · 2008 - 2009
I moved in here last December, and at the time it was a great deal for a 2br, however it turned out to be a huge disappointment. First of all, the people who live here are a very odd breed. Every weekend night (and some weekdays) there will be drunk residents coming home yelling; I've had to call the cops on multiple occasions due to domestic disputes resulting in screaming and cries for help (this is at 3am keep in mind). Being a female that is living alone, this can be quite terrifying. Secondly, residents let their children roam freely about, there are not play areas, so children play in the parking lot. Many are yelling throughout the day and into the evening. Also, any hour that the pool is open, there are tons of children there. I'm not against kids by any measure, but it's a bit annoying to not be able to enjoy a pool on account of unruly & unsupervised children. Lastly, on many occasions, I've seen cars vandalized (keyed, broken into). My own car had 6 dings within 2 weeks of moving in from people carelessly opening their car doors into it-- it was brand new a month before I moved in. Quail Ridge is overall a disappointment. The rates are reasonable, the units clean but I would not suggest under any circumstance that you rent here. The $720/ month rate isn't worth the hassle and chaos that I've had to deal with in living here.
