Hello, We value hearing your feedback and do apologize that you had this experience all around. We have been working hard to make improvements as we are committed to providing a comfortable home for all who choose to reside with us. We have made multiple improvements such as adding new cameras, installed key pad locks on the restroom doors, reinforced the rear pedestrian gate with steel plating, installed package lockers and doubled our security patrol all of which have elevated the overall awareness around the property. Again, we apologize that such an incident occurred, however after a collaborated effort between residents and our management team, these measures have proved themselves to be effective over the last several months. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns online and we would like to address a few key points about the safety of Tanner Flats. Break-ins sadly can occur anywhere and at any time, but we need to remain diligent in our efforts to work together to prevent this from happening again. Our community is located in a popular area in Portland and the onsite staff and management are consistently doing everything possible to continue to take precautions. There are no unlocked doors around the exterior of the building and there are adequate cameras throughout as well. Our security patrol also does a thorough 6 hour patrol in the evenings. Our garage door is meant for vehicle entry only and in order to maintain the safety of our building and vehicles, all residents on foot should enter the building through the proper doors, such as the main entrance door. At this time there is no easy way to gain entry to our building. We hope that you were able to attend the resident meeting that we hosted with the crime prevention division of Portland. They had great feedback and tips for residents. We also went over in great detail the precautions we have taken for Tanner Flats to continue to be a wonderful place to call home. If you would like to discuss in further detail, I offer you to stop by the office during business hours to speak with management to voice all of your concerns. Hello! We are located in an area that does not offer allot of street side parking, this is mainly due to our central location and accessibility to the MAX lines. We do however offer garage parking by the night in our garage for any visitors you my have. Please feel free to contact the office for more details about this at 503-595-7700. Please feel free to let the office know if there are any noise issues that we can assist you with (i.e.: river dancing neighbors in the middle of the night, etc.), we're happy to help when possible. As for barking dogs, we would appreciate knowing where the barking is coming from so that we can help the owners find solutions. We have a few tricks up our sleeves and people are usually eager to know if their dogs are barking as they don't want to cause a disturbance. As a team, we understand your concerns regarding the rooftop and elevator "accidents" because we are the ones who clean it up. Again, if you are able to identify the culprits we can speak directly to them and hopefully resolve the issue. Thank you for your valuable feedback. We would like you to know that the back pedestrian gate has been something we have fought for in the past; however, due to certain building safety codes we are unable to give that gate fob access. We understand that this creates a burden to pedestrians and cyclists alike but it's beyond our control. As for the temporary parking charge- the garage is now 99% occupied and we are only able to give out empty spaces for temporary parking when available. Your guests can park in the Zone A parking area for 2hrs or even overnight if needed. The pet waste station is used by not only by our community but the neighborhood and we do our best to empty it on a daily basis. As for the pet "walk area" this is neighborhood land owned either by the city or the neighboring condo community and it is out of our control. Our maintenance team takes pride in keeping the grounds around our building clear of debris each morning. I invite you to come to the office to discuss any concerns you may have about our community.
