The manager will lie to your face regarding stuff that you will later find out is not true. According to her there are "new" washers in the laundry rooms. Three washers to be exact for about 30 apartments. I am not sure if she knows the meaning of "new". Does new mean that they were there before, probably 10 years old at best, and only work part of the time? Much less they don't even remove simple dirt from clothes.

The windows might as well not be there. There is a constant breeze that comes in through the windows whether it is windy or not. You can also hear everything outside whether you are sitting by the window or ten feet away (even people talking as they walk down the sidewalk two floors below). The mold and mildew that grows in the 20 year old windows is pretty great too. You should be lucky if the windows even lock!

The walls are equally as noisy. You can hear your neighbors talk as well as walk around their house! Be lucky if you have a second floor apartment because the floors are very loud too.

The people that live in the Ellington are a whole other story! I think a lot of them may have been raised in a barn. It's not okay to scream, yell and play loud music at all hours of the day and night when you live in apartments!

Oh and their fame to claim "emergency number" is useless. They will not call you back. If your whole apartment went up in flames after the office closes they most likely would not find out about it until the next day.

I would avoid this place at all costs! Living here has been miserable. I can't wait until my lease is over.
