I have been living there for almost three years now and just signed up for my fourth because the experience has been so tremendous. The property is not the newest building on the block and is somewhat limited in its services, but what it lacks for in amenities it makes up in a great location and an even more fabulous staff. For the concierge staff, kindness is only the beginning. The personal care and investment in each resident is felt each day. My two boys and I love walking through the lobby and being able to say hi, catch up and spend some time with each and every person working at the front. The management is equally top notch. They are quick to respond to any and all needs and, likewise, are a friendly presence around the building. Maintenance is "Johnny on the Spot" for anything you need (frankly I rarely need anything outside of a new light bulb or the one-off appliance issue). Beyond all of that - the residence and the community is what keeps me there. If you're looking for a lively group, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a place where people look you in the eye and say hi, ask you how your day is going, etc. then I highly recommend. It feels like the overall age/demographic is a mix of professionals and empty nesters (likely due to the lack of flashy amenities - there is a beautify outdoor terrace with grills, fire pit, etc. and a small interior room, but outside of that it's pretty simple). It's that kind of group that coexists really well. RARELY do I ever see or get the sense of a "party" crowd - only once in 3 years have I had to ask someone to quiet down. In those 3 years I've seen (mostly) the same people day in and day out. It's people who want to live there and stay which makes it feel more like a vertical neighborhood than an apartment building. Whether you are looking for a place to stay for the short term or a longer term apartment option, I highly recommend looking at the Louisa.
