Overall, a decent place to live. The front desk is friendly and the facilities are decent. There are only a couple of problems.
1) Maintenance is slow, but it's not the fault of the maintenance people. The maintenance people are very nice and good at what they do. They're just over worked. The company really needs to hire more than two people for the job as it can take a while to get a repair order fulfilled.
2) The building construction isn't the best. The windows are very drafty, the insulation isn't great, and the quality of materials isn't amazing. Overall, not a huge issue. It will result in slightly higher heating costs in the winder and a couple of additional maintenance requests, but overall tolerable.
3) The "ISpeed" issue. In the simplest terms, ISpeed is horrible. The customer service is pathetic, the quality is horrible, the constant loss of connectivity (both cable tv and internet access) is way too frequent. On top of all that, the time it takes for the company to fix problems is longer than what I would consider reasonable. To make matters worse, it's the only option available to residents. It's a scam as both Devlin's Pointe and ISpeed are owned by the same company, James A West. As a result, they have zero motivation to improve quality of service or allow alternative options to residents as they have a captive audience without power to enact change.
