Maintenance is the worst! I don't have the upgraded apartment however they could at least had the place fixed up when I moved in. My bathroom had wholes in the wall that I've patched up my main bathroom have spackling outside of the tiles and around the toilet. The pipes in the bathroom for the tub in the guest bathroom are loose and whoever decide to put the cabinets I have in the kitchen up deserve to be....... Let me not be too negative and add some pros to my cons; even though you can find walk in closets bigger than the second bedroom, it makes a good spot for a study area (sometimes you have to work with what you got) the living room and master bedroom are a decent size for the apartment complex, but for the rent you pay, you may want to consider buying or even leasing a condo. If you can get over the occasional noise from the train passing, which I don't mind so much, in fact I like the sound of the train passing, and when events like Music Fest is in town, don't mind the event it's just difficult leaving and coming home because the streets are cluttered with pedestrians and traffic, it's a nice settled area. You're minutes away from the attractions restaurants and shoppes in downtown Bethlehem. A short drive from Lehigh Valley Mall and supermarkets such as Walmart and minutes away from Sands Casino in Bethlehem. If its about location location location, then this is where you may consider to live. As far as living convenience, you may want to consider being a "do it yourselfer" to keep everything maintained as far as the nagging eyesores you may spot out throughout the apartment. I will also give them credit where credit is do, they are upgrading the apartments with newer appliances such as the refrigerator, stove, air conditioners and taking way the carpeting and adding hardwood flooring and touching up the bathrooms, however you won't get none of that if you're already a resident (your apartment won't get upgraded if it already hasn't until you move. Talk about having to die before you can go to Heaven, right?). Oh and by the way even though the management was a whole lot bet when I first moved in in 2011, though the management can't hold a candle to management before I will say its fair, and I'm being nice by calling it fair. Again location A- (including on the property and street parking), maintenance, management, the amount you pay for rent and inconveniences drops my final grade on the Waters Edge Apartments experience to a C-. One last thing, if you can, instead of doing laundry in the laundry room on the property, consider using the Laundry Mat less than 2 minutes away on 3rd Street next to Rite-Aid. I hope my review helps you on living arrangements. (Rent is subject to change do to upgrades, that means prices will rise, a lot more than the $910 that I'm paying.)
