Levittown Trace Apartments

Felt compelled to write a review because I almost didn't rent here because of the negative reviews, and so far (10 months) have had a mostly positive experience. Cons- It is true that the walls are thin. If I don't have any background noise on, I can hear my downstair's neighbor snoring at night. It also often does smell like weed in my particular part of the complex - but I've also never complained to management about it. Also, the dumpsters do get overfilled with trash which leads to trash being on the ground outside of the dumpsters which does attract skunks. More dumpsters would be beneficial, but it doesn't really bother me all that much. My unit itself wasn't in the best of shape when I got it (closet doors off the track, scuff marks on the appliances, some peeling paint), but you get what you pay for. It boggles my mind that so many people write negative reviews here as if they pay a luxery apartment price. These apartments are super cheap, and for the price, I really don't have any complaints. It was better than I expected. Pros- I've only ever had positive experiences w/management. Anytime I email about something I've always gotten a response within ten minutes. I once thought I smelled gas in the apt. & I emailed management, who replied right away, sent a maintaince person over within 5 minutes (and who fixed the issue within 10 minutes) and assured me to call right away instead of email if that ever occurs again. Also, Lori helped me bring in furniture into my apartment that arrived early the day before my move-in date when that's definitely not a part of her job description. I've also never seen a roach, a rodent, or bed bugs in my apt. I've literally maybe saw two spiders my entire time here. That could be because I live on the third floor and never leave food out (not even in the garbage can). Keep your apartment relatively clean and you won't attract unwanted pests. I've also never had an issue with the heat or the air conditioning. The water was turned off a couple times without warning, but was always turned back on in a matter of hours.
