Great Apartments

Been living here a little over a year now and love it. Staff is always great and so helpful. Neighbors with Jen (one of the staff members) and she always goes out of her way to help me anyway that she can even after office hours. Love living here. Maintenance is always very quick to come out anytime I have an issue.

    Insects in the Apartment Buildings

    Apartments and area are nice, but the leasing office is terrible. I have an insect issue because the entire building has a silverfish problem the office refused to address. A legitimate infestation and the office could not care less. Bugs in my bed, office, kitchen etc. All over my apartment. I run a dehumidifier 24/7 and have to keep my apartment uncomfortably cold to not have them. They ignored my calls for a week initially before an exterminator was sent, and I had to pay out of pocket to get MY OWN EXTERMINATOR because they said they wouldn't call anyone except their guy that comes 1-2 times a month, and if you miss him then youre SOL. You would think for $1700 a month I could not have to sleep with insects. They also told me they couldn't tell the exterminator to come every month to my place or put me on some kind of list and that I would have to call every month if i wanted him to come.       We are disheartened to see a 1-star review. Our pest control services reported no silverfish infestation in the building as this was confined to one apartment. Sorry we missed your call as we are sometimes with other residents or out showing our community. We strive to return any call backs in a timely manner. Pest control services are offered twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month.       We had a great experience leasing from Rochester Village. It's a in a great location with plenty of amenities. The gym is clean and has a lot of equipment. The dog park is perfect; especially when our pup needed to run out some energy. The community is connected to neighboring communities which is great because you can go on long runs or walks. The community is also right up the hill from Graham Park. You also receive a spot in the building garage which is a great plus. But there's plenty of parking outside the buildings too. If we had an issue, Melissa addressed it right away. She's incredibly professional and helpful during the whole process: paperwork, moving in and moving out. If we need to lease in the future, we would consider moving back to Rochester Village!

        The staff is rude and dealing with them is always a headache. They mismanaged every step of my move in and move out and I got stuck footing the bill for all their mistakes. I have experience working in multi-family management and this is by far the worst operation I've ever experienced. The leasing agents are rarely in their office when they are supposed to be and if you do happen to catch them they always act incredibly inconvenienced to do their job. The pool is shared with the entire community and is too small to accommodate that many people. There is almost never anywhere to sit . The pool is also needs to be cleaned more regularly - always wads of hair, used band aids and other misc floaters in the pool. Would not recommend this place to anyone after my experience. For the amount of money you pay, you can go to much nicer apartment complexes in Cranberry that have excellent service. Avoid.

          Disgusted. I've been told "we're too busy" "that's not our job" "we don't handle that." Your emails/calls usually go unanswered/ignored. Good luck getting packages if you work past 5 because the leasing office closes at 6 during the week, or they’re out giving “tours” on the weekend and don’t come back by the time on the “we’ll return by” sign. I had to have a family member pick up my numerous packages that piled up throughout the week and the leasing agent handed him SOMEONE ELSE’S packages. If he didn’t check them before leaving he could have accidentally walked out with the other persons packages or the resident could have accidentally been given mine. Clearly competence and privacy is an issue here. Most of the staff seem unwilling to help or do any more than the minimum. The property manager has been helpful but ONLY after going WAY out of my way to get certain things handled properly/efficiently by going directly to corporate. The rent is outrageous for what you get. Eden Square and the Club at north hills are smaller/less expensive but the service is unbeatable.
