Heat Shut Off April 15th Despite Cold
I called the front office today and spoke to the property manager. She advised me that the owners had all the boilers shut off on April 15th, despite the very cold weather we've had. It wouldn't be so bad if the windows in my apartment were sealed properly and didn't allow a draft through. When I asked what they were doing for people with small children and elderly, I was advised that they'd provided some space heaters. I have an 18-month old who would love to try and play with a space heater, what a great idea. I find it pretty rephrehensible that the management and ownership of this complex chose to do this, despite the $900 a month I pay for rent. That, and the floors above me are so poorly designed that it sounds like there is a bowling alley upstairs. Oh, and since I'm on the topic, the water system is awful. If anyone else is running water in the apartment, you can't take a shower because it goes from scalding hot to freezing cold constantly. I don't feel safe giving my kids showers because I don't want to burn them. All in all, I am very disappointed for what I get for my money. This could really be a great place because the location is excellent, but the upkeep is horrific and I can't recommend living here to anyone.Share This Review
