I am disappointed to say I will be reviewing this apartment facility similarly to some of the other posts below. We moved in back when Buzzuto was in charge of management; while there were some of the issues I will describe later down the line, Buzzuto management always made sure to accommodate us in the best way they could. They were always so friendly and excited to be there and interacting with their residents. They also had better accommodating hours to better suit their working residents. Maitenence was handled immediately with proper action. The facility was generally so much cleaner and more enjoyable. Lastly, we were promised by Buzzuto no more than a 3% increase after our first year... Unfortunately when Buzzutto left, Korman destroyed what current issues ESF had with construction and made this place a living pig pen with serious rent increases and inconsiderate accommodating hours. Paper thin walls. First and foremost, this is a major issue. I feel as though we live in a motel. We hear everything from conversations to personal engagements happening in the next apartment (even when the tv is on). The train. We were promised to have a sound proof apartment; false. I tried getting used to this but I can't wait until or lease is up. It's everyday and on the weekends. LOUD. The air leaking. For approximately 5 months this brutal winter we complained about our heat leaking through our apartment (all awhile our electric bill was through the roof). It took 5 months for them to "try and fix our door" by adding plastic strips beneath. Gym. I stopped using the gym when Korman came into management as they never clean the gym, never restock the cleaning wipes, turned the air off, and most TV's broken on machines. Why would anyone want to pay an amenity fee for something so ------. Clubroom and pool area. If I were Korman, I would constantly want my guests to feel they at least have a common area to enjoy that's up to date. The TV's are broken, the sound never works, etc. Korman, if they want people to stay should be more accommodating especially understanding some of the hick ups they are experiencing with their "change" they speak of. But the unthinkable happened. They raised rent 13%!!!! And raised trash from 18.00 to 25.00!!!! Are you kidding me? The trash shute is down the hall. NO ONE should have to pay 25.00 per month for someone to walk their trash 50 feet down the hall. *and the plumbing blows. Constantly having to unclog everything. It's a joke. Looking forward to leaving.

We are extremely disappointed that you feel this way. Since Korman has taken over management, we have been working very hard to make this transition as smooth as possible. With that being said, we do recognize that there are areas that we need to focus on and improve upon. When lease renewals come up there will be an increase,however we strongly advise that you schedule a meeting with the Property Manager to discuss your concerns regarding this matter. We have also changed our office hours to Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday: 11:00 PM - 4:00 PM Hopefully you will find these hours more accommodating. We have repaired all of the TV's that were not working properly. We certainly want all of our residents to enjoy all of the amenities that we offer and we continue to make sure those areas clean, well stocked and functioning properly.
