I contacted Media Real Estate when I moved here about a year ago. I drove 2.5 hours for an appointment to see 1BR apartments in Media and Swarthmore. The agent was late, had obviously forgotten about the appointment and made us drive to meet her somewhere I'd never been before. She promised ro show us at least 3 apartments, but after the first, she handed the keys to us and told us to check the other apartment out ourselves. She then told us it was all that was available.

Upon returning to their office, her boss(?) checked in with us and gave us a few more keys to apartments....to check out ourselves. We returned with several questions (obviously - nobody went with us to answer our questions at the properties) and we made to wait 30 minutes before our original agent talked to us. She couldn't answer basic questions (how far is the train station from the apt, etc.) and was very rude.

The last straw was when she literally walked away from us while we were discussing the only half-decent apartment we'd seen that day (the rest were moldy, musty, small, hot, and generally unpleasant). She stood up, turned her back on us, walked over to someone who'd just walked in the door, and began to ask them about what they were loking for, whether they'd like to see some apartments then, etc.

We walked out (not that anyone noticed). My letter of complaint to her supervisor went completely unacknowleged. Between the porr customer service and the musty, dirty apartments, I would say STAY AWAY.
