Selma Estate Apartments
Resident · 2010 - 2011
These apartments are actually condos in my opinion. You will NOT find this kind of space and features at this price anywhere. IDK what Selma Associates was thinking when giving their price. I guess they don't care about making money because they could get more. I lived in an upper unit so my ceilings were high and vaulted. It was great and I loved to show my unit off to company. Everybody who came to visit loved the layout. The walls are soundproof which made having company better for me and my neighbors. The washer and dryer was a little inconvient because of being downstairs, but I rather walk downstairs to my own than share with strangers and count my coins. Also, nothing beats the storage space that comes with the washer/dryer. It's a basement. I never had problems with bugs and/or other creepy crawlers. I have been a renter for over ten years and I am very particular about the places where I live. It took me a while to decide on Selma because of all the horror stories about Norristown. Ignore them. I am a young, single female. I always felt very comfortable and safe when home. Neighbors are friendly and attentive. Don't be fooled by the comments of "shootings" and so on left by crazies. That is a flat out lie. The bad parts of Norristown are on the eastside anyway and Selma is the top of west. No rif-raf at all. Selma is surrounded by working class people who share like minds. Grounds are well kept. People use pooper scoopers. Very nice area. Kids can play safely. Dog lovers will love Selma. I wish the garage door was a little bigger, but I still got my Tahoe in it so I was good. The only reason why I left last week was because I moved to VA. I will definitely move back to Selma should I come back north. I highly recommend to everybody. If you are serious about the places you rent do not pass by Selma. NMB.
