Selma Estate Apartments
Resident · 2011
I lived in Selma Estate apartments for 4 years and the only reason I moved out is because I purchased my own home. The apartments themselves inside are decent. I never had any complaints and everything pretty much always worked. I never had any issues with pests inside the apartment (the squirrels on the balconies is another matter). Having your own garage space, laundry and storage is great. Common spaces could use some updating and cleaning more often. And having been there for 4 years, the quality of tenants sharing my particular common areas went down dramatically. And hopefully you don't get a neighbor that likes a lot of bass in their stereo. Prior to the last tenant moving in below me, I always thought it was a fairly quiet place. I was a bit shocked how noisy it could be. Also, it can get a bit noisy with children playing at times with the windows open. It is Norristown. Yes, you can find drug dealers. Surprised? Not really. It is a convenient location. Within walking distance of a 24/7 CVS and 7-11. It was great having a garage, but having more then one vehicle can be aggravating as parking spots can get tight (and too many tenants have 2 cars).
