Well, as the old saying goes, "you only get what you pay for." After years of paying $500 or more per month for a 1 bedroom apartment. I came upon Amadell apartments for $349. Well, it is one year later and I think signing this lease was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. This community defines the word ------.

Here are the highlights that sum up the worst year of my life: The refridgerator did not work when I moved in. It took them a week to fix it.

The screens were not secure after I begged them to fix it. I couldn't open my windows. Also, keep in mind that you will more than likely have skyrocketing electric bills. For a tiny 1 bedroom apartment, my bills were $70-$100 in the winter and $150-$180 in the summer. It doesn't help when you can't open the windows.

I almost got mugged on Xmas eve in the parking lot because they rent to the lowlife trash.

Also, it is supposed to be a "secure" building, but every time maintenance decided to fix the security door to the building, some piece of ------ trash would bust the lock.

The kicker that inspired me to sign a lease for another apt. that I could barely afford was when a bat was perched in the apartment hallway. It was Memorial Day weekend. I noticed it Saturday and they didn't come and do something until Tuesday. Everyone was at risk for rabies.
