This apartment building is run like a well-oiled machine. The building administrator (I cannot use a name in a review) and her staff here are exceptionally attentive to the residents in the building, and if any type of maintenance issue arises as it inevitably will in a building of this size, the maintenance crew is right on hand to either fix the problem, or immediately repair/replace the appliance in question. The building has 24-hour front desk coverage and an underground garage that is very secure and well-lit. The Chestnut Hill West line is less than 100 yards from the front door, but since the trains are electric and the Chestnut Hill stop is the last on the line, the trains come into the station quietly and at a very low rate of speed. Center City is about 35 minutes away from here. The close proximity to Germantown Avenue is also a plus, with the Woodmere Art Museum a 2-minute drive (or 15-minute walk) away. There is a good mix of residents here as well and the apartments are well-insulated and very quiet. My experience here has been very, very positive and I would recommend Hill House to any of my friends and colleagues.
