Please do literally whatever you can to avoid moving into this building. Roaches and mice are common in and out of the apartments and seen in the hallways. I lived here BARELY 11 months and was ready to move out after month 2. As soon as I moved in, there was a leak above my stove that the management didn't attend to for a week and told me to just put a pot under it because it wasn't considered an emergency for a weekend visit. I don't even know if they have 24/7 maintenance if someone had a flood in their apartment. After the leak took months to be repaired because of holes and plaster, etc., I could finally use my kitchen. I continued to see massive roaches, larger than any ones I've ever seen before, and had 2 mice. This isn't normal for such a short lease, and I will tell you the management doesn't care about its residents either. They are used to quick turnover and barely do any repairs without being begged before people move in. I am finally moving out to a MUCH cleaner building - NXNW, just a few blocks down... do yourself a favor and can't WAIT! Please please do not be fooled by the advertisements, unless you get a "renovated" unit, you will constantly see critters and leaks in your apt. Even if you get those, you are likely to be subject to the random issues with washer machines, hot "free gym" downstairs, and you will see dead roaches in the hallways. Don't be fooled by the great location, just pay the extra money and live somewhere you can actually stay for more than a year.
