Rent here if you like...
RENT HERE IF YOU LIKE: Construction noise that starts at 7am every week day. You'll love the consecutive internal and external renovations underway! A "temporary" entrance (going on about a year now) that's draped in plastic tarps and illuminated by paint lights. Enjoy the looks on the faces of your guests when they hear the beats coming from the security person's boom-box and enjoy the smells of the take-out food they're eating. Eavesdropping! Cell phone and walkie-talkie conversations of the help can be heard with little effort from the halls and lobby; you won't even have to leave your apartment. Security personnel outsourced from a company, rather than employees of the building, with little to no background checks. The constant turnover and unfamiliar faces will make you appreciative of that deadbolt lock on your door! Scaffolding every where! Jockeying for an unloading spot. Let your competitive spirit soar as you challenge the cab drivers in front of the Dorchester for a 20 minute space to load/unload. Uncle Fester. He's the building manager! Being untroubled by status updates and progress reports of ongoing construction! Water shut-offs. Not having to use your alarm clock. Don't worry about getting to work on time. Unexpected fire alarms assure your early start to the day! The song, "Hotel California" because "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave." The loading dock has been obscured by scaffolding for months and months!Share This Review
