While the place is much cheaper than many of the competing places in the area, it also offers less. Things we have to deal with; the occassional roach, leaky faucets, voices through the ventilation in the bathroom, low temperature control because of central heating, high laundry machine prices, smelly hallways, night sirens outside, out of service elevators, and a homeless person occupying the neighborhood block at all times of the year, which isn´t the most inviting thing when you´re walking home at night. Still, we get a great deal, the place is very safe and convenient, the location is an awesome compromise between Center City and West Philadelphia. Consider it if you don´t mind the "oldness" which is not necessarily that annoying, but still something to consider.
