Since I’ve been living here at the premier it’s been amazing. I love the building and my apartment. The security system they have here is amazing and whenever I call down for someone to help , they come right away. Do it fast and efficiently. I would totally recommend living here

    Since the new management, this apartment has been going downhill. The overall upkeep, the responsiveness from maintenance and noise level are the worst. Not to mention roaches. Total downgrade. Then to have the audacity to up rent and parking fees when they cut corners to save themselves money.

      The new management fired all the wonderful employees that worked there for many years. They are all great people and workers. You see an A rating but please believe me it is because of the old management and not the new management company. The manager keeps changing. The newest one is extremely rude and nobody cares at all about you.

        The new management PREMIER came starting December 2020, and needs serious efforts to introspect and reorganize their efforts in the community betterment. ---MAIN ISSUE: MANAGEMENT PRIORITIZATION for community improvement is HIGHLY misguided. There are priorities involving immediate human needs within the community - physical exercise and human interaction. By closing down the amenities without any signs and intentions to open them up the community managers have failed to asses these basic needs and deprived residents of their amenities and associated fees. ---DETAILS: 1. Amenities that residents have paid hundreds for have been closed since November and unlike previous management THE POINT which used effective online sign-up systems to limit 5 people per hour, PREMIER management team did not even attempt to open them up. Gym has been closed (see picture), and one resident has been reportedly lied to that it would be open by April 12th. Close neighbors of this resident, myself included, are furious with this apparent deception. 2. Most infuriating of them all is the common area has been filled with their APPLIANCES FOR UPGRADES.           Ever since premier bought it is an absolute nightmare! These people fired everyone and stripped security. They then one day decided to hold tenants mail and packages hostage until you provide a credit card without warning. People have packages they can not get unless they provide a card. It’s illegal and they basically tell tenants to p!ss off and deal. They hold elders medication like criminals! Stay away! These people are absolute criminals!!! Run run run!!!

            We're sorry if you are not a fan of the new package system. Luxor One only asks for credit card info in the event that the package is left for more than 5 days. It is part of the process for residents to get their unique code to retrieve their packages. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

            The former management was amazing. But recently a new company took over and the place has gone to ----. They laid off most of the office staff and cleaning. The front desk hours got cut exceptionally short so you can never get your packages. Everything's breaking down as well. It used to be a good place when Panco owned it. But these new people have absolutely ruined it. They're trying to cut cost as much as possible at the expense of the residents.

              Lived here since 1984. Place is not what it was but it is home. The place was cleaner of course that is a tenant issue. Trash room is bad for failure of tenants discarded trash and cigarette buts dropped weights in gym despite management wasrnings

                        The units are old and require renovation. Doors, Windows need to be replaced. My shower room reminds me of my shower room in a cheap student dormitory in the 80s. The maintenance is terrible. I had to call way more than once for repairing my shower, and it is still not 100% finished. In one of my bedrooms, the plaster follows off the ceiling, and the mold is growing. The second parking spot is costly, and many residents are parking on the street, creating hazardous driving conditions, especially on the Overbrook exit. The hallways smell bad because the carper has not been washed for a while. Management is very nice, but this is not enough for the rental price equal to the mortgage payment for a decent house. I asked the management to stop by and look, but they kept referring to the maintenance manager.

                            I live for a month and everything in the apartment is good. Cleanliness of the kitchen floor and bathroom as well. The size of the apartment is very suitable for me and my family. I would recommend a lot to anyone who wants a lot of space and a clean, quiet place.

We've had a positive experience so far, except that the appliances are old and in poor condition, and the fire alarm system evacuates the building at any hour for a false alarm. Also, the oven signals a false alarm when at high temperatures. Finally, several electrical outlets do not work.

                                      A week since I moved into the new apartment, so far, everything is perfect and good.The only disadvantage is that there is no Sawyer Market near the place. You can go to it without a car, but the train and bus do the trick in front of the other advantages.

                                        I'm a very new resident and this is an overall solid apartment building but the leasing staff, in particular a woman named Angelica, and maintenance staff are either very unresponsive or are not honest when they do actually respond. Don't let the initial kindness fool you. When I came for my initial visit, I was explicitly told the apartment I saw would be the exact setup I would get. It's really been a web of lies since the ink was dry on signing the lease. They don't show you the actual apartment you move into until move in day. Keep in mind I was told what I saw was what I was getting. The apartment I actually moved into has a bathroom half the size of what I was explicitly told I would have. The lies have continued all over the spectrum. The best one was being told 2 months in advance that I had the freight elevator reserved for my move in to getting there and being told I was never even in the system. On move in day, it was also very clear that the place was barely cleaned as there was big cobwebs all over the place.… See More>
