Resident 2013 - 2015

I moved into the Annex at the Touraine the first week it opened in October of 2013. I live on the fourth floor, and there is no elevator, but that is okay with me. The quality of the re-construction couldn't be better, andSee More >

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review us! It's wonderful to hear that you are enjoying your apartment home! Although the Annex, which is a walk up, does not have a Door Person, we provide our residents next door at the Touraine, which has a full lobby, with 24 hour Front Desk coverage and Door Personnel from 8a - 12a daily. Sometimes when discussing personal situations it is easy to forget that the guidelines for all conversations regarding your rental home must be the Lease Contract. We are always willing to assist, but to ensure that all our residents are treated fairly, the Lease Contract needs to be the starting point. If you have anything that you need assistance with, please do let us know. Best, Domonique Andrews Resident Services Manager

Visited Touraine for a tour. Leasing office was nice. Building is ok, definitely old. Elevator was slow and the other one was out of service. Apartments were average. Laundry, only one set of machines per floor - otherwise you would need to be in oneSee More >

Touraine
Thank you for visiting us! Our building is an historic building, built in 1917. It is definitely an old building! In renovating the building, it has been our goal to keep the grandeur and old world style which the Touraine has come to represent. For instance, our recently renovated lobby has soaring ceilings, marble floors, a fireplace, and beautiful molding. Our elevators are also undergoing a modernization. They will be regenerative drive elevators, one of the most energy efficient elevators out there. During the renovation period, 2 of the 3 elevators will be fully functional while the 3rd elevator is being worked on. Our apartments have some of the largest floor plans in Center City. They have lots of closet space, abundant natural light, beautiful touches like crown molding and leaded glass windows, and are available in classic or renovated styles. Our common laundry facilities are free on both the floors and in our basement. Our studio and one bedroom apartments are not equipped to have washer and dryers; however, our building next door, the Annex, has studio and one bedrooms in a similar price range with washer and dryer in the unit.

Live in the Touraine building for over a year now and I love it here. It's quiet and location is perfect (rittenhouse parc, Kimmel center.) Staff is very responding, helpful and friendly. Parking is not included, but there are lots of opportunities to rent aSee More >

I have lived at the Touraine for 4 years now, and absolutely love it. I've lived in 2 other "luxury" apartment buildings in Center City in the past, and neither of them compare. They were newer buildings, shoddy quick construction where you could hear yourSee More >

This building has all sorts of problems from its lazy and incompetent management to its lazy and incompetent security guards. It's a shame too since it's such a pretty building. If you're considering living here, look elsewhere. Don't expect the management to keepSee More >

The building itself is great: old but renovated, tons of charm, in a great location. The staff is great, too - helpful, courteous, friendly. But the management's attitude towards the tenants seems to be: don't bother us, just pay the rent and leave us alone.See More >

We lived at the Touraine for about a year and a half. It is an impressive building. Some of the old time staff (Edie, Al, Milton) are wonderfully helpful. But despite the top rents charged, the management staff is incredibly disorganized, charged us for itemsSee More >

I have lived at the Touraine for 6 months now, and unfortunately am moving out of Philadelphia but would love to stay there forever. The building is not new, but well-maintained, and the management is always willing to fix any problems. For instance,See More >
