Resident 2007 - 2009

Don't even bother

Wow - things just continue to get worse here - below are some things I have experienced over the past 2 years. Please don't move in here if you want a nice, clean and quiet home. -Windows so old and draft your curtains will blow - not fun in the dead of winter -Bathroom mirror edges are so sharp you can be cut very easily -No electrical outlet in the bathroom? Have you even herad of that? -The walls in the place are UNBELIEVABLy thin. I hear every conversation both of my neighbors on either side have, along with fighting, snoring, and other things I won't say here. It is extremely disruptive and there is no such thing as a good night's sleep. It also sounds like someone is about to come through your door since the hallways and creaking floors so are loud as well. -The fire alarms go off WAY too much, and it is always a false alarm...it seems the system may have issues. yeah- and when it happens it's always 3am on a week night. -Don't even think you can order something online and be able to pick up a package from the office. If you work a Mon-Fri 9a-5p job and can't get to the office ever when they're actually open, then you ask if it can be dropped in the apartment, and they are always have "more important things to do". I have had packages sit in there for over a month. -Needless to say, management is not a cakewalk to deal with -There are lovely trash pickers in the dumpsters in the parking lot -Electrical breakers flip very easily -Laundry Room closes at 7pm each night, making it impossible for a person working until 6p at night. When you do get in, 1/2 the washers are broken and the whole building is fighting over machines. -Carpets in the apartments are terrible, I don;t even think they were cleaned when I moved in. They're so think it's like cheap office carpet or something you would put in your garage. Believe me....I could go on about this, but I think you get the point - save yourself a lot of hassles.
