i moved in my apartment in sept 06. i was excited simply because i was moving out on my own. Everything seemed fine until about dec 06 i went christmas shopping only gone about 3 hours and came home to a HUGE hole in the door where it meets the wall. i was horrified and very upset. THANK goodness i dead bolted the door, other wise i would assume they would have gotten in. i went down to the office and they acted like this kind of stuff NEVER HAPPENED here. they wrote up a note because i demanded the door to be replaced. and three days later it is still like that. so i called and flipped out and they finally sent maintenance over to put these metal bars on it which you can EASILY screw off with a screwdriver!! and on top of that, the main door to get into all of the apartment doors is easily opened! all you have to do is to jiggle it a little bit and pull up! and bam! you are in! this place is good for college students who are here for a short amount of time. and the pet fee is a bit ridiculous! 150 nonrefundable fee! why? why not refund them if the animal didn't ruin the carpet?

I was surprised to hear that anything of this magnitude happened at Crane Village and yes, infact, things like that rarely ever happen here. We did take care of your maintenance request with a metal guard plate to prevent a reoccurrance. The main apartment doors to the buildings are next on our list to update in 2007. The residents of your building need to all work together and make sure your entrace door remains closed and locked.

Our pet fees have been the same for 4+ years now. We require a one time non-refundable $150 per pet and $20/month pet rent per pet. I have two dogs myself and would gladly pay the price to have my dogs stay with me.
