Resident 2002

6/9/2005

Starting with the good, the apartment itself is very nice, and well kept. The landlord is very nice and will get whatever you need fixed the same day if possible.

Now the bad. The Mexican War streets lies between two ghettos, so you will here car sterios all day and night (it never ends). Also, being that it is a split level with one apartment having the first floor and half of the second, and the other apartment with the third floor and half of the second you will always here the person upstairs no matter what floor your on. There are hard wood floors with no insulation to keep out soud, so be perpared to never get a full nights sleep.

It has street parking, that should be permit but is not. It hard enough finding a spot to park on regular days, but when there is a football game there is not a spot left in the entire Mexican War streets!!

I ended up paying the two months rent and giving up my deposit to leave. The apartment is cute and adequet, but the noise I had to listen to (for literally day and night) was too maddening.
