Edgemont Terrace Apartments

I was looking for my first apartment, and we checked this place out. We saw a model apartment which looked fine.

The real problem (this is why we're glad we never lived there) was that we had to pay a $200 fee when we applied to live there, which was supposed to be refundable. The guy said that if we ended up not taking the apartment, we'd get the money back; if we took the apartment, it would be applied to our security deposit.

We ended up taking another apartment, and when we asked for our check back (we hadn't signed a lease, only applied), they said that we had three days to accept the apartment, or they keep the check. The contract we signed said nothing about this three-day limit, and after that, they never returned our calls, and didn't give clear answers to questions.

And with the other review of the apartments, I'm glad I never lived here!
