Sand Spring is a wonderful place to live. It's only 15 mins to allentown and about 10 to the l.v. mall. The office and maintenance people are great, you have a private entrance and in about half of the apartments you mailbox is right at your door, and you have a washer and dryer right in your home. The apartments themselves are huge! In my 2 bedroom its just over 1100 square feet and the one beds are around 900. the downfall of that is that they dont have many one bedrooms. i was on the waiting for 6 months and nothing opened up and i've been here 4 months now and everybody is still here. But their prices are so great that i could afford the 2 bedroom. My rent is $773 a month. Any apartment that i looked at that was comparable was atleast $1000. there are 2 downfalls. No pets with fur, but i can have my eclectus parrort, my parakeets and my fish. The walls are very thin too. Luckily there are mostly older people that live in the complex. I'm 20 and i think i'm the youngest person here. Another plus is that there is a mini golf course that only takes 2 minutes at the most to walk to. they also have batting cages and really good ice cream. I think they sell other food too. If you don't even plan on moving until spring or summer you should call now. there is sometimes a waiting list for the 2 bedrooms too. And you don't need to pay anything to be on the waiting list. Oh, another plus! I've been here 4 months and only killed 2 bugs so far! And one more thing, the windows are not at all drafty!
