Jefferson on the Creek
Resident · 2016 - 2017
If you are looking to rent from here steer clear especially with the new management! The previous management was willing to work with people and did a great job of making the residents happy but the new management is complete opposite. Pros: The units have washers and dryers and the top units have spacious balconies. Maintenance WAS very quick to handle repairs although there were a lot of them. Cons: The first day we moved in the washer was broken, the toilet kept clogging and the shower would back up to the point where we were showering in about 2 inches of water collecting at our feet. Maintenance was out to fix our shower about 5 times during the year as well as the toilet. Within a couple months after we moved in, the fridge started making a heavy cranking noise that needed to be fixed. To top everything off, the air conditioning broke while we were on vacation. The new management took over just shortly before we left for vacation and when we came back to report the issue, it took several attempts for them to send someone out to look at it. They looked at the air conditioner and told us they needed to order a part and it would take about 2 to 3 days. Next thing we know, it was a week later and it still was not fixed. By this point we had to move into our parents house until it was fixed. Not once did anybody recommend a window unit so finally we called demanding one and they came and put it in 2 days later. After three weeks, we decided we were moving out and left with the air conditioner still broken and the apartment thermostat reading 85 degrees! The new management is terrible and very rude. They do not answer the phone so good luck trying to get a hold of them for anything. I rated safety a two because all residents received a letter stating that there was a lot of police presence on the property and there are a lot of drug problems within the complex as well.
